Profile:
DEZPC was established on 30/9/1990 as a
Joint Operating Company as
per the Service Contract ratified by the Law no. 27 of 1988 and signed
between the government of the Syrian Arab Republic and the Syrian
Petroleum Company (SPC) on one hand, and TOTAL E&P Syrie (TEPS) on the other hand.
DEZPC,
the Operating Company, carries out the execution, development and
production works according to the most modern
technologies and methods in the field of the oil and gas industry on
behalf of SPC and TEPS.
Using of these modern
technologies by DEZPC has helped building up, developing and qualifying
the national staff as well as updating work methods and supporting the
principle of optimizing the economics, while keeping high safety and
environment standards, and that helps very much in having the
international license ISO 14001 at the beginning of the year 2008. Along
with the good industry practices and complete readiness of
the oil facilities.

Safety
&
Environment:
The industrial security
and HSE of operations in the oil facilities is a major point of the
management policy of the company with the main objective to keep the
standard at the international level.
A complete Health, Safety
& Environment Management System aiming at keeping the safety of employees
and oil facilities, with full respect to the environment, and issuing
reports as per the international standards and principles adopted in the
oil and gas industry has been created.
Manpower:
DEZPC pays a special
attention to develop the national staff in order to decease the need of
foreign experts. It has set up strict criterias to test its employees and
to set up some career path.
As a result, intensive
training programs are provided in order to qualify the necessary staff to
operate our production facilities. Trainings are done within our
facilitates or within dedicated training centers.
Some international
assignments are also organized to qualify some futures production leaders.
It is to be noted that a
particular attention is given to Health, Safety and Environment within our
training. |
